TRIPTYCH EVENT POSTERS
ABOUT THE PROJECT ︎︎︎
The objective of this project was to take a historical event and explore the process of expressing versatile concepts, coming up with design variations, as well as developing research, analysis, and critical thinking skills.
The invention of the computer was the focused concept of these set of posters. Invented in the early 1800s, computers have evolved into various mediums of technology, essentially manifesting into the whole technology and social media realm in today’s world.
Although technology has done wonders for the development of humankind, it is also essential to recognize its negative impacts on the human perspective and thinking, which then coincides with its control and dominance over identities. These event posters were designed building from the concept of the corrupt results of technology.

SYMBOL MANIPULATION
With media and news frequently presenting us with false and distorted information, these triptych posters for the Museum of Illusions
reveal the concept of how the invention of technology and its advancements have led to played perceptions, the distortion of truth, and manipulation of realities.

TYPOGRAPHIC
Technological features like the infinite scroll, refresh, and easy access to search have made it so that viewers are constantly engaged and glued to the screen.
These set of posters were designed for the event “Tech Talk 2022” where technology professionals talk about the highly addictive features of technology.

REPITITION
Social media has a way of changing how an individual views and presents oneself.
It reshapes and constructs new facades to the extent where self identity presented on the social media platform is no longer in its truest form.
The triptychs made for the film festival called “Digitized Identity” shows documentaries that address these obsessions of modifying the self.
